So I sent in a pic and bio to the casting director for "nothing but
the truth" the new Matt Dillion Film that is shooting in
Memphis....well I got a call in to be an extra but they are shooting
tomorow and I'm in California. Damn I missed my chance to be famous!
Just being asked to be an extra is by far the coolest Thing to happen
in my life to date....just imagine if I had gotten to do it....

Bridge

Happy Birthday Waldo

So Waldo had a birthday thursday...he's a whole year old!! I can't beileve I've had him so long!

We celebrated his B-Day with peanut butter dipped bones from Just Dogs Gourmet. haha

I really hope I dont turn into that creepy dog lady...or does that only work with cats?

either way.

I try not to be creepy with my love of Waldo. Though I do talk to him alot and he keeps me company during the day.

Oh and he likes to cuddle and watch Sex and the City, Grey's Anatomy, and Ugly Betty. He's been neutered so he doesnt mind if I force him to do girly things.

Really I just want to post alot of pics of him for people to ooo and ahh over. j/k not really.

You can tell alot about a person by their starbucks order. I get picked alot to run and get our office's starbucks coffee and I hate it. I've come to hate starbucks people. The people who order the non fat, no whip triple grande whatsit with half a pump of sugar free syrup, extra hot kill me. unfortunately i get the duty of having a list full of crazy picky coffee orders. I mean really, order a regular coffee or drink a coke to get your caffeine...OR get your own damn coffee BEFORE you get to work. there's an idea. But hey what's the fun of going to Med school...or chiropractic school, rather, if you dont get the right to have coffee runners to pick up your coffee? any ways. I always get a regular coffee and add 2 splendas or a non fat misto (reg coffee with steamed skim milk) or today I tried something new an iced 2 splenda reg coffee. Does this mean I'm laid back and easy going? or maybe it's just bc I dont want to use my weightwatchers pts on creamy coffee....or maybe I've just been jaded with the world of coffee. I didnt mean to ramble that long about starbucks.....but starbucks does represent all that is wrong with the world today....oh and so does seedless watermelons. I bought my first seedless watermelon last night. When did we get too lazy to pick out the seeds in our fruit. Sure its still good and its lots easier....but its sad for me to know my kids wont have any memories of sitting on the porch spitting seeds on a hot summer day. I loved it. But I guess every generation has those little things. Like I'm sure my granny has some awesome memories about going to the out house to potty or handwritting letters.....but does that mean I want to pee outside and give up my email? no.

Searching for myself

So I've come to the conclusion that most if not all people my age have NO idea what they want out of their career or life....If they think they do, I am convinced that they are liars! Well this is just what I tell myself so I feel better about being so confused with life. For some reason I thought things would be different. I thought that some kind of wisdom would be bestowed upon me by now. My parents lead me to believe that I could do anything in the world that I wanted to do if I worked hard enough and that a college degree would be the magic key that would open any door I wanted. Is it my parents fault that I am having so much trouble finding my place (which unfortunatley our society defines by our jobs) in the world? No. I think it all comes down to supply and demand. When we have more qualified people applying for the higher paying jobs then the price (the level of education needed to get a job) increases.
I'm exhausted from constantly worrying about being an adult.

A New Beginning

The first post is always the toughest.
I've had several journals....well two others. But since ever other aspect of my life is changing I figure I will TRY this new blog. BUT I have made a promise to myself that with this new blogI will actually write about things that matter, not boring stuff about my day or anything emotional.....But if you know me then you prolly know that serious blogs wont last very long. haha
I'm gonna leave this short and sweet and I look forward to writing something worth reading soon.
